April 4-5. Outdoor Bluegrass Picnic. Informal Bluegrass jam sessions throughout the weekend.Outdoor bluegrass stage show on Saturday night.  Bring your acoustical instruments and join the fun. No admission.

April 7-11. Early Bird Carving. A week of carving classes by featured carvers.

April 12-13. Woodcarver Show & Sale. Two-day sale open to the public. Display and sale of carvings, tools, supplies, blanks.

April 14-18. Woodcarver Rally. Featuring woodcarvers from around the country. Classes, fellowship, and fun. Small rally fee.

May 2. Splash Day. Pool opens for the 2008 swim season. Free swimming May 2. Pool opens for the season May 3.

May 9-10-11.  Texas Sate Mountain & Hammer Dulcimer Festival. Free concerts and workshops. Arts & Crafts Fair.

May 23-26. Memorial Day Weekend. Great weekend for camping. Enjoy activities in the Glen Rose area.

July 4. 4th of July Roundup. Enjoy the special activities planned in Glen Rose. Parade downtown. Food, Vendors, Fun.

August 29 - September 1. Labor Day Weekend. Last weekend the pool is open.

October 3-4. Bluegrass Reunion. Weekend Jam Session with open stage on Friday and Saturday nights.

October 27-31. 12th Annual Fall Woodcarving Show and Sale. Come have carving fun and fellowship. For beginner, intermediate, and advance carvers.

November 7-8. Bluegrass Jam Session.

December 12-13. Bluegrass Jam Session & Christmas Gathering. Gather with friends, play bluegrass music, Skip-bo, dominoes, etc.   Let's have fun!
