A Historic Landmark and Cultural Center
Barnard's Mill was built by Charles Barnard who, previously, had operated a frontier trading post. The Mill was the first permanent structure built in the Glen Rose area. Today, Barnard's Mill is a historic landmark and art museum. The museum is home to oriental and American Indian art and artifacts, as well as the Jewell Miears Fielder Foundation, Inc art collection, with works by Jack Bryant, Jewell Miears Fielder, Morris Henry Hobbs, Amy Miears Jackson, R. Kleinfelder and Robert Summers.
